Suggested Tasks:

1. Review Council Study Group Reports for specific recommendations for this committee.
   
   
2. Charter sub-groups to address key issues or identify improvement needs, etc.
   
   
3. Prepare policy and process recommendations for consideration by the full Council.
   
   
4. Serve as the interim decision making body between full Council meetings.
   
   
5. Set the overarching agenda for the Council and its committees.
   
   
6. Serve as a forum for discussion between and among the Governor's Cabinet leaders and citizen leaders from the Council.
   
   
7. Ensure the State Council is a well-respected, high performing and respected by both employers and employees.
   
   
8. Sustain a "high-level" strategic approach to the Council's work.
   
   
9. Oversee comprehensive planning including building a doable state plan.
   
   
10. Establish the state workforce development goals in conjunction with the Governor.
